Oh where to even start…. it all began with the purchase of the Davinci 2.0 and from there it has snowballed into something I can’t even begin to describe short of saying, this is VERY addictive. I have probably gone through several miles of filament at this point.
I now own three printers ( with a fourth in the works ) that are almost constantly running and printing something. Our house is chock full of props, utensils, and what not all printed in my tiny little closet/office/room.
I’ve since moved out of the little closet/office and put everything out into the workshop where the DaVinci, Anet A8, and Aurora A5 spend their time. Getting ready to build their new houses so I can get them all fired up again to work while I work on other projects.
I do periodically offer my 3D printing services to people who want stuff printed locally for a small fee, normally these items are found on sites like Thingiverse and here’s a few examples of some items I’ve printed for people and stuff I’ve printed for myself.
This is by no means a complete selection and only shows some of my older prints. I’m particularly fond of how the 40k stuff turned out, especially the Tau.
Another thing I REALLY love is the ability to print Doctor Who stuff like the Tardis and Daleks in abundance to cover the different variations and I’m most proud of my Special Weapons Dalek that’s available on Thingiverse for free if you’re interested in Doctor Who. There’s also plenty of Sonic Screwdrivers to print and so much more. If you look around on the site I think I even have a pic of my Marvel Doctor Who #1 signed by Tom Baker sitting in a 3D printed stand I made to display it with the 4th Doctor’s logo.
I’ve also designed several 3D Models of my own, tweaked a few I’ve found on Thingiverse that needed tweaking to suit my needs and loaded them up for everyone to enjoy, you can check them out here:
