Wrapping up the SV300 Complex is almost bittersweet and I keep looking at all the vehicles and wondering if I am missing any. There’s only one left and it’s almost complete and once it’s completed I might actually shed a tear.
Here we have the so called brains of the complex, the 9S457 Mobile Command Post which as I understand it, takes data from all of the radar units and tells the batteries where to send their missiles, sending 2 per target at a range of like 30-50km. There’s quite honestly so many sources with so many different specs it’s hard to get a hard answer on these, even the “official” sites seem sus at best… on one hand you want to believe one source but then you don’t because it makes sense for them to give misinformation, and on the other hand you want to believe another site because why would they make stuff up ??? So confusing sometimes. But I guess that’s all part of the game
So anyhow, here it is, coming in 1:00 scale with the others this model measures in at 122.50mm and comes in 1 piece. Ideally you will want to print it vertically and make it hollow to save on resin. I’ll get around to test prints at some point soon so keep an eye out for those and for painted models. In the meantime here are the promo pics:
As with the “Grill Pan” model, this one comes with a little freebie, a nifty little Soviet themed box that can be scaled up or down and used for dice, ranged in markers ( a hint at another freebie perhaps ??? ), tokens, etc…
