First Impressions: Miscellaneous Miniatures Decal Sheets

So the other night, on the second of May to be exact, I placed an order to a website I found that sold 1:100 or 15mm scale decals for some aircraft I was wanting to finish… mainly my IAF Cobras.

If you go check out the site: https://miscmini.com/shop you can see that they have a nice selection of decals for a lot of scales and eras. I opted to purchase several sheets since they were just $5.00 each, and the detail on them is spot on. Each sheet has enough decals to cover several aircraft which fits perfectly with the Team Yankee and Flames of War unit numbers… i.e. enough decals for 4 IAF Cobras.

My only complaint, which as an experienced modeler isn’t really even an issue if you know what to do, is that the decals are not die cut so you have to trim very close to each decal to minimize the clear glossy border. As I said, it’s really not an issue for most people, just get some super small and super sharp scissors and you’re set.

They did not take very long at all to loosen up and come off the sheet and they reacted very well to the decal solution I had on hand. I wanna say less than a minute per decal.

I would definitely recommend this site for getting decals. Shipping was incredible and they were here before I knew it. I was honestly expecting them to arrive by my next days off but nope, they came within 3 days, packaged nicely and in individual little ziplock bags which makes it easier to cut off the decals you need and return the rest to the baggie until you need them again.

So yeah, go check them out… https://miscmini.com/shop
