Leather

Oh where to even start? It all began when I was watching an episode of Unsolved Mysteries back in the late 80’s and they were looking for a kid who got into a medieval recreation group known as the Society for Creative Anachronism. The kid went missing and was never seen again, but throughout the episode they kept showing these guys decked out in all kinds of armour fighting with sticks. So as fate would have it I was driving home and passed the local park and what do I see? Guys decked out in armour whaling on each other with sticks! That was it, I was hooked and after several months of learning the rules, making my own armour, etc, I was fully sucked into the fold. As the years went by I started to develop my own identity and along with it enhance my armour and accessories to include real leather stuff. And so it began that I started to work with leather in the most basic of forms. Now I can tackle most any task to include skinning and tanning if need be.
