Once again I find myself deep in the process of 3D printing models for Warhammer 40k. This time however, it’s for my own army, one that I used to play when it first came out and everyone laughed at until I dropped my girls down on them and rained holy fire all over the place.
The purpose of this post is going to cover several things, and might actually get broken up into a couple of posts, we’ll just have to see. The reason I say this is because as I print these models and miniatures I am quickly learning things and seeing things in regards to businesses like Games Workshop, Forge World, and other big companies that shell out a LOT of time and money to produce high quality models… and Joe Schmoe in his moms basement with Blender cranks out equal quality 3D models for anyone with a 3D printer to print for free…. see where I’m going with that ??? Whole new can of worms there for me to be honest.
So anyway, back to the broads… The Sisters of Battles or Adeptus Sororitas. Part of of the Imperial forces and similar in many respects to the legendary Space Marines but on a more religious and feminine scale if that makes a lick of sense to anyone.
They are a very religious bunch that run around in power armour delivering the Emperor’s wrath unto the impure and cleansing them with lots and lots of fire… did I mention LOTS of fire ???
So much like my other posts regarding Printing for the Emperor, I’m going to list a bunch of download links to free models that you can get yourself and print to build your own army. I’m also going to include a list of premium models you can buy that I’ve found that look REALLY nice when printed on an SLA printer. I’ll separate these to avoid confusion so pay attention down below and check back as I will update this as I find and print new models. SO… let’s get started shall we ???? I’m going to also do this in a much more organized fashion for those serious about building an army…
