Yup, it’s been a year already, where does the time go ??? To commemorate his rescue last year I threw together a bunch of the pics we’ve taken over the past year. He has made a full recovery and can even be ridden now !!!
Nobody knows how he wound up alongside the interstate, but somehow, he made it there so he could be seen. We have managed to piece together part of his life, for 4 years in the beginning when he was a racehorse to being retired because of a knee injury. He was then sold and the person who bought him dropped off the face of the planet. Fast forward 17 years and we have a video of him being towed behind a trailer down a dirt road and a picture on Facebook of him standing alongside the interstate. There’s a 17 year old gap that nobody can explain and only he knows about. I think these days he very content to spend the day being a horse and playing with his girlfriend.
